MY REVIEW OF PAINTING WITH A TWIST- TRINITY

I received compensation  in exchange for writing this review. Although this post is sponsored, all opinions are my own.

Hello all,

A little paint, a little wine, and a whole lot of fun. Over this weekend I visited Painting with a Twist - Trinity. We chose to paint "Mystic Forest". At first we thought it was going to be extremely difficult because we have never painted before. But it was actually easy with the help of our instructor, Ivy. Ivy was so nice and more than willing to help anyone with additional assistance.

But how does it work? First, you go onto their website and look at the different options for paintings available. Next, you chose the picture you look and sign up. Then you go to your designated time slot and start painting and having fun! Their fun, friendly atmosphere makes it easy to relax and really enjoy painting. There is no pressure and it's great for all skill levels.

When you arrive, you are seated with all of the materials you will need; a blank canvas, paint brushes, an easel, apron, and a palette with all of the colors that you will use. Up on a stage, they have a blank canvas and a painting to show you what the finished product will look like. Once Ivy began, she showed us step by step how to paint the "Mystic Forest". You can also put your own creative spin on it. Different shades, textures, thicknesses, whatever you prefer is what you can do.

She explained to us how to get the light blue background with the colorful magenta ground with paper towels, and the blue and black trees with our "baby brush". It was all easy to follow directions. I never thought of myself as a great painter, but even I can paint a good picture with the right directions and with a great instructor as Ivy.

In addition to their regular classes, they have offer family days, kids camps, private parties, fundraisers, and more! They allow you to bring snacks, soda, beer, wine, anything to make your experience more memorable.
