MY REVIEW OF THE CAMERA LICENSE PLATE FRAME WITH PARKING SENSOR BY SMALL ANT TECH

I received compensation in exchange for writing this review. Although this post is sponsored, all opinions are my own.

Hello all,

We all do so much driving these days. I know I do. Sometimes it seems like thats all I do. So when I was offered the chance to try out the camera license plate frame with backup sensor and camera I jumped at it. We all could use a little peace of mind when driving, and this is that peace of mind. It makes me feel so much better knowing that there's something to help me drive safer!

This product is amazing. First off it's pretty easy to install. It comes with everything you need except for a NTSC monitor, which you need to buy seperately. I found them pretty cheap on amazon, for around $12. It has a highly sensitive backup sensor, which I love! It warns you with beeps if you come within 5.5 feet of something. Then it shows you in distance with a colorful reversing line.

This is definitely a product you can count on. The camera is waterproof, and so it works great in foggy and rainy conditions. The lens on the camera has 6 layers to help eliminate blurs for a sharper image. The camera even has night vision with 2 LED lights that turn on when the light drops to a certain level. This is a great product, for a great price $36.99 on amazon http://amzla.com/rhdco9e57rjt .
Such a small price to pay for peace,of mind!

HAVING FUN AT THE GREAT EXPLORATIONS CHILDREN'S MUSEUM

I received compensation in exchange for writing this review. Although this post is sponsored, all opinions are my own.

Hello all

If you're looking for a new fun place to take the little ones, The Great Exploration's Houghton-Wagman Children's Museum is the place to go! I was happy to receive free tickets to go, because I have had my eye on this place to take my granddaughter here for awhile!

Where to start, this place was so awesome. It has so much for your little ones to do! I love that it only has one entrance and one exit that is always manned by an employee. That way you're little one doesn't get out it case you lose track of them. There were so many kids here for my granddaughter to play with! She had a blast!

HAVING  FUN AT THE GREAT EXPLORATIONS CHILDREN'S MUSEUM

The place is broken up into lots of small play areas, with a large playcenter in the middle with a slide.
There are lots of table with different kinds of building blocks on them. They have a lot of seating by these. Among the sections we really like was a kid sized Publix grocery store with a checkout! It had lots of play food for them to choose from! Our next favorite area was a hospital with a nurses station, x-ray machine,  dolls and stethoscopes, and a large Operation game.

Next we moved onto the farm area with a life sized cow you could milk and a farm with plenty of food! Then onto the sandpit next. This was popular with the kids and this section was crowded.

The last few areas we stopped to explore was the TV station where you could act like a real newscaster behind a news desk, with a monitor you can view yourself on and play computer keyboards. Lastly we stopped by the fire rescue area complete with fire truck and firemen gear!

We stayed for 2 hours, but could of easily stayed for a few more.We really had a great time, and there is so much to do here to keep any kid happily entertained. There were many other areas for us to explore for next time. This would make a great spot to have birthday parties with its abundance of fun and its safe environment. We has so much fun, we looked into buying a yearly membership We will definitely be back, and I highly recommend this place to anyone who has kids! It is located at 1925 4th St. North, St. Pete., right next to Sunken Gardens. Parking was free, Admission was $10 adults and kids. It was well worth it. Maybe I'll see ya there!

MY REVIEW OF BUSCH GARDENS 2018

I received compensation in exchange for writing this review. Although this post is sponsored, all opinions are my own.

Hello all,

I recently received free tickets to Busch Gardens in exchange for a review on my day there. I was happy to have this opportunity. Though I have been to Busch Gardens many, many times, I have yet to visit the park during the cooler months, when hopefully there would be shorter lines. It took no time at all for us to park, catch the shuttle, get through security, and through the gates to enjoy our day. I noticed right away, most of the ride lines were short. It was a great time to go!

MY REVIEW OF BUSCH GARDENS 2018

I noticed the park had changed since I was last here. We started off in Egypt. Gone were the sand pits, and the walk through exhibit about mummies. It looks like they made the area smaller, but with one awesome new addition. They had a new coaster, The Cobra's Curse. On it you go on a vertical lift, spin backwards and forwards, and through an Egyptian archelogical excavation. It looked thrilling, but  we weren't brave enough to try it this time.

MY REVIEW OF BUSCH GARDENS 2018

Next we ventured to Pantopia for one of my daughters favorite rides, but alas, it was not longer there, The Sandstorm. So we decided then to try our luck at some water rides, braving the chilly Monday afternoon temperatures. So we hustled over to Stanleyville. No waiting at all for The Staley Falls Log Flume. My daughter promptly went through the ride in no time. That one is always a favorite on sunny warm days, the drop to the bottom is always wet and awesome! Next up, time to head for The Congo!

MY REVIEW OF BUSCH GARDENS 2018

The Congo River Rapids always guarantees for a fun time. Just the right amount of excitement and fun for someone such as I who isn't fond of the coasters. And of course you usually get a little wet. But this time, I remembered my rain poncho, so I stayed happily dry! But it is a great ride to be on when the weather is hot. This has always been a family favorite.

After looking through some of the stores and stopping to look at some friendly penguins, we were off to our last ride of the day, The Serengeti Express Train. It was a great time on the train. I have never seen so many animals out and about. We saw giraffes, zebras, and antelopes all walking up very close to the train. We even saw a rhino off in the distance, and many more animals. We even caught a great view of the Skylift! It made for some great pictures!

SHIVER ME TIMBERS IT'S ALMOST TIME FOR THE INCREDIBLE GASPARILLA PIRATE FESTIVAL

Hello all,

Well shiver me timbers, guess what time of year is it? It's almost time for the very popular Gasparilla Pirate Festival held in Tampa every year at this time. We are just a few weeks away, its scheduled to blast off on Saturday January 20th and 27th. But do you know why we celebrate Gasparilla?
The name comes from a pirate named Jose Gaspar who pirated Florida's waters during the late 18th, early 19th century. Thinking of disbanding, they decided on seizing one last ship. Little did they know the ship was a US Navy warship disguised. There was a deadly battle, ending with Jose Gaspar's death. In 1904 city officials adopted the event as a yearly citywide celebration. It wasn't till Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla members put on masks, and on horseback staged a fake pirate invasion. It was so popular it turned into the huge Gasparilla event we have today.

So what can you see and do during this widely popular festival? Here is a list of events with the festival starting at 11:30 am with the Gasparilla invasion.

The Children's Gasparilla Parade is a family friendly event featuring a parade, marching band, performers, and beads! It is on January 20th  from 3:30 - 6:00 and goes down Bay To Bay Boulevard to Edison Avenue.

The Pirate Fest starts with the Jose Gasparilla sailing into Tampa Bay firing off cannons at 11:30 am. This is the world's only fully rigged pirate ship. He will then dock at the Tampa Convention Center at 1:00 pm. This is when you will see the mayor handing over the key to the city. The parade starts at 2:00 pm. This is the nation's 3rd largest parade, with street performers, food and music. The parade features 103 floats this year and 3 marching bands. This year there will be even more stages set up for entertainment. This is a free event, but you buy reserved seating for $45-60.

The Gasparilla Distance Classic is an annual race that takes place February 24th. It starts at Brorein St. and Franklin St., at 6:45 am and benefits many charities in the bay area.

The Gasparilla Festival of the Arts is a free art festival that takes place March 4-5 at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.

All of the events finally end with on Sunday March 4th at the Channelside Plaza when the mayor demands the return of the key to the city and the pirates returning to the sea. It  all winds up at 6:30 pm with a final cannon salute.

Keep in mind this event gets very crowded. It drew 300,000 people last year. So dress up like a pirate, have fun and be safe!
