MY REVIEW OF BUSCH GARDENS 2018

I received compensation in exchange for writing this review. Although this post is sponsored, all opinions are my own.

Hello all,

I recently received free tickets to Busch Gardens in exchange for a review on my day there. I was happy to have this opportunity. Though I have been to Busch Gardens many, many times, I have yet to visit the park during the cooler months, when hopefully there would be shorter lines. It took no time at all for us to park, catch the shuttle, get through security, and through the gates to enjoy our day. I noticed right away, most of the ride lines were short. It was a great time to go!

I noticed the park had changed since I was last here. We started off in Egypt. Gone were the sand pits, and the walk through exhibit about mummies. It looks like they made the area smaller, but with one awesome new addition. They had a new coaster, The Cobra's Curse. On it you go on a vertical lift, spin backwards and forwards, and through an Egyptian archelogical excavation. It looked thrilling, but  we weren't brave enough to try it this time.

Next we ventured to Pantopia for one of my daughters favorite rides, but alas, it was not longer there, The Sandstorm. So we decided then to try our luck at some water rides, braving the chilly Monday afternoon temperatures. So we hustled over to Stanleyville. No waiting at all for The Staley Falls Log Flume. My daughter promptly went through the ride in no time. That one is always a favorite on sunny warm days, the drop to the bottom is always wet and awesome! Next up, time to head for The Congo!

The Congo River Rapids always guarantees for a fun time. Just the right amount of excitement and fun for someone such as I who isn't fond of the coasters. And of course you usually get a little wet. But this time, I remembered my rain poncho, so I stayed happily dry! But it is a great ride to be on when the weather is hot. This has always been a family favorite.

After looking through some of the stores and stopping to look at some friendly penguins, we were off to our last ride of the day, The Serengeti Express Train. It was a great time on the train. I have never seen so many animals out and about. We saw giraffes, zebras, and antelopes all walking up very close to the train. We even saw a rhino off in the distance, and many more animals. We even caught a great view of the Skylift! It made for some great pictures!
