THE AWESOME AND FUN MIND TRAPPED ESCAPE ROOM

Hello all,

We all love keeping busy during the summer. But when the weather is scorching hot like it has been lately, I like to find an indoor activity to do. I am so happy I recently got tickets to try an escape room from Mind Trapped Escape Room in Palm Harbor. Oh my, this place was a lot of fun!

I had went to one a few years back in Pigeon Forge, and I hated it. I walked out I was so frustrated. The place was so poorly run, and I was with a giant group. So I thought I knew what to expect, but that wasn't the case. I was so pleasantly surprised with this one.

First off, we got to do the escape room with just our small group. Let me tell, that makes all the difference in the world, and it makes it so much more fun. The people I encountered who run the place are very professional and friendly. The place is so clean and nicely decorated. They even have puzzles for you to play with while you wait. But we didn't wait long!

They presently have 3 escape rooms available. They are working on more to come soon. We got to do the mob informant! My group of 4 was escorted to our escape room, which was a small room with chairs and a casket. We were told the back story on Paulie the mob informant, and how we were to try to solve why he was killed by finding clues throughout the room. There clues were used to unlock drawers and boxes where there were even more clues! They were never ending and definitely made us use our brains to figure them out. There was a large screen fixed to the wall with a countdown timer so we knew how much time we had left to figure this out. We had 60 minutes. The last clue we found was the one to unlock the door and escape.

If we needed help at any time, we were given a HELP sign to hold up to the monitor. Okay, we did have to do this, but only twice. Don't worry if you do have to leave for any reason like to use the bathroom, because they do give you a code to open the door if need be. I really liked this escape room. It was a lot of fun trying to figure things out with my group. I don't want to give anything away, but this particular room had a few very awesome ways we found some of our clues. I highly recommend this place if you have never been!

Mind Trapped Escape Room is located at 34254 US Hwy 19, Palm Harbor. There number is 727-754-5705. To play it is $28 per person. I am looking forward to going back and escaping from another, I'm thinking of the one with the serial killer and the cabin!
