Easter is almost here. That means candy, colored eggs, and a delicious ham dinner. For some reason, Easter is so hectic for me and it's a task to do all the Easter egg hunts, church for some of us, and to get a delicious feast on the table. I ran across this recipe from Betty Crocker for a delicious ham you make in your crockpot. Also a shortcut to making those delicious Easter eggs. Slow Cooker Ham:
INGREDIENTS:
a 5-6 pound fully cooked ham
1/2 cup dijon mustard
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar
DIRECTIONS:
First thing to do is spray your crock pot with a cooking spray.
Make 1 inch diamond pattern cuts on your ham.
Whisk together the mustard, syrup, and brown sugar and pour over your ham.
Cook on low for about 3-4 hours till a cooking thermometer reads 140 degrees.
Remove ham and let sit about 15 minutes and pour the strained cooking sauce over ham if desired.

Hardboiled Eggs in the Oven: Did you know you could do this?
INGREDIENTS:
Eggs
DIRECTIONS:
Oven temp should be at 325-350 degrees.
Place the eggs in a muffin tin and bake for about 30 minutes
After baking, place the eggs in ice water to prevent them from overcooking.
Cool, decorate, and enjoy!
