Easter is almost here. That means candy, colored eggs, and a delicious ham dinner. For some reason, Easter is so hectic for me and it's a task to do all the Easter egg hunts, church for some of us, and to get a delicious feast on the table. I ran across this recipe from Betty Crocker for a delicious ham you make in your crockpot. Also a shortcut to making those delicious Easter eggs. Give these mouthwatering timesaving Easter recipes a try, enjoy!

Hardboiled Eggs in the Oven: Did you know you could do this?

5 CREATIVE FUN WAYS TO DYE BEAUTIFUL EASTER EGGS
Hello all,
Easter will be here before you know it. Time to think about your decorations, parties and egg dying. But are you tired of making your easter eggs the same way? I know I am. I found some creative ideas to make egg dying fun again. Enjoy:
1. Dying eggs with shaving cream-
DIRECTIONS:
Using white shaving cream (not gel) spread it out in a pan.
Sprinkle drops from different colors of food coloring along the shaving cream. Neon works best.
Swirl your colors through the shaving cream.
Take a hard boiled egg and roll it in through the cream in the pan.
Let them dry for about 5 minutes then wipe off excess and rinse with water,
This makes gorgeous marbled looking eggs. But keep in mind, you can't eat these.
2. Dying eggs with whipped cream-
DIRECTIONS:
Same directions as above but omit shave cream and add whipped cream.
This way produces beautiful marbled looking eggs you can eat!
3. Dying eggs with kool-aid (kraft.com)
DIRECTIONS:
You will need 8 env.(2 of each) of cherry, orange, lemonade and berry kool-aid.
Add 2 env. of each flavor to a container and add 2 tbsp of water and stir.
Place eggs in a bowl in the sink and wet with water.
Spoon kool-aid mixtures over wet eggs to create tie dye swirls.
Pour a little of water over each egg to set and dry on paper towel.
4. Margarine marbled egg (better homes and gardens)
DIRECTIONS:
Using a glass measuring cup mix 1 cup cool water with 20 drops of food coloring and 2 tsp of white vinegar.
Melt 1 tbsp margarine and mix with the dye mixture.
Dunk a hard boiled egg in and out a few times then submerge for about 3-5 minutes.
Wipe with paper towel.
5. Tie dyed egg (better homes and gardens)
DIRECTIONS:
Moisten a paper towel with vinegar and wrap it around a hard boiled egg.
Don't make the layers too thick.
Press the tips of food coloring tubes onto the paper towels, letting some of the color ooze out onto the paper towel.
Let the egg sit for just a few minutes then remove the paper towel.

I've bought plastic cutlery many times, and most times the forks and spoons are very small and flimsy. These though were very sturdy, and they were nicely sized for adults. The gold color was stunning. It would make any occasion festive. I definitely recommend these for use at your next party, and mine! Check out the video!
